If you love to hike in the warmer months, it’s the perfect hobby to try out in the winter! I recommend renting before you buy to make sure you like it! You can rent snowshoes at Christy Sports for $22/day at one of their many locations across Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Washington, and Montana!

Once you have your snowshoe rentals, here are a few areas that are great for snowshoeing:

- White Pin Trailhead (Big Cottonwood Canyon)

Dropping off your Snowshoe Rentals:
After we picked up our easy rentals at one of the many Christy Sports locations, we drove up Big Cottonwood Canyon to the Solitude Nordic Center located between Solitude Mountain Resort and Brighton Resort. The Solitude Nordic Center has trails for both snowshoeing and cross-country skiing! For those looking to snowshoe like we did, you can enter the visitors center and pay $8/adult.
Done with your rentals?
When you are done, you can drop the rentals off that evening or the following morning at your Christy Sports location!
