Growing up in Texas, I never really experienced a true fall of cooler evening temperatures and watching the leaves change during the proper autumn months. This year, I got an Airbnb for a month beginning in mid-September to embrace all things fall every single weekend! I found that the last weekend of September led to some of the best foliage in the mountains and then more colors turn in Denver early to mid October.
